About the position Our client is looking for a Dentist to join our clients’ team in Tumut, with the intention of transitioning the right clinician into a future Principal/Owner role. This is ideal for an experienced all-rounder (or a confident improver) who enjoys comprehensive general dentistry, values continuity of care, and wants to build something long-term with a loyal and busy patient book. You’ll have clinical autonomy and the support to deliver end-to-end care across a broad scope, including: Comprehensive exams, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventive care Restorative dentistry including composite fillings and complex cases Crowns, bridges and smile rehabilitation planning Root canal therapy and pain relief dentistry Extractions and management of dental emergencies Teeth whitening and cosmetic enhancements where appropriate Dentures, relines and ongoing prosthetic maintenance (If you enjoy implants, Invisalign-style aligners, or other advanced treatments, our client is open to supporting growth based on suitability and demand.) Succession focus: This role suits a Dentist who wants more than “just an associate position” - someone motivated to lead clinically, nurture patient relationships, and gradually take on the responsibilities that come with stepping into a Principal/Owner position over time.
